Golby impressed in the Nab Cup game and from the little i saw on Fox i still like him. Strong body and pretty clever with the ball. Dyson also seems to put in. Thoughts Rip and the like who watch.

5 ruckmen on the list and we're having to name McKeever in the ruck. Let no-one ever complain again that we have too many rucks!

Played Ruck last week too and was named in the best.

Was a handful for his opponent and kept floating forward and looking dangerous.

Golby's first four or five kicks went straight onto the chests of Southport players, but once the radar was fine-tuned, he was right for the rest of the day and did OK (as seen on the telly).

Josh Dyson drifts in and out of games a bit. A real old-fashioned half forward flanker.

Green impressed the commentators and looked at home at that level. I think he needs to improve his fitness a little. He has a bit of an odd body shape atm but he should be a player.

Harwood also looks good at the level below. Starting to get some quality pressure from below I think.

Dyson is an interesting one. He does lack size and it is hard to judge him because as you said Rip, he does drift in and out of the game. I'm finding it hard to really figure out where he is at in his development. I must say I thought he was a tad underwhelming last week against Southport.

I will be interested in hearing how he goes today.

According to the dog's tweets Retzlaff is going great guns at CHF.

Would love to hear how X and Drummond are going. Would most enjoy having them back next week.

I left just before 3/4 time.

'X' took a hanger I got a photo of the tail end I will try to post later tonight.

Retzy was taking plenty of marks, as was ACorn.

Might be time for Retzy to be given a go before Browny returns.:thumbsu:

According to TBD Cornelius and Retzlaff were great up forward. Would like to see how that combo went against GC.

Amon phenomenal today; as he was last week. Seven to A-Corn (according to A-Corn). Harvey good in defence opposed to Clouston. Retzy and Patty K marking beautifully in attack. Mr. Harwood industrious. SOKS spent second half in attack and was a useful link in the chain. Drummo looked a bit sluggish and certainly wasn't extending himself boot-wise.

Was right near X's big grab. Hope it's on film!

Overall pretty good team effort on a dry but slightly boggy ground. Redland matched the lions for certain parts of the game.

Not the best shot, but this was it when he was on his way down.

The ground was pretty wet indeed, so this grab was awesome!!

ACorn was grabbing everything, even when he couldn't see:D

It was wet, and this bloke loved it.

Don Barry was lively around the forward line.

And let's just say the locals did not like the attention he paid on the blind side to the umpire of this pack. A quality swinging arm that got the intended target "My ball, NO PRIOR OPPORTUNITY!!";)

Nice shots CTD! Particularly like the one of Green - I can just imagine he's a mudlark. Is his disposal showing any signs of improvement?
