List analysis

We should start to see quite a few list analysis articles start to appear so I thought I would start a thread for them to be put in.

The footy tragic guys have done an interesting one and give league averages by age and position which adds a bit to their analysis. It's probably one of the more thought out one and worth checking out. I was surprised how close we are to league average in the age brackets. I was thinking we would be in the young bracket but apparently not.

I think we are still very much a young/old side, which probably gives us an average age average. Once we lose a few of the older ones, our average will probably drop down to reflect our 'true' average player age.

Is it just me or have they rounded up on the ages?

The likes of Redden, Rich, Rockliff, Cornelius and Banfield are all 20 or 21, are they not? Is it that they'll be 22 at some point next year? Bit rough on Redden if so...a December baby IIRC.

Yeah, Redden's not even 21 yet. That's not too accurate at all.
