It's almost like the coach only likes flakey loose half back flankers.

Keep Hayes. I think he's quality that's been badly managed by us. Just dunno why our coaches trashed him so publicly? If we really think he is that crappy, I suppose we trade him to the highest bidder, but Slyce is physically cooked, and we have Teaks and Vis in the wings. Even without making a play for Grundy, Dam must be on thin ice

Agree with most of that. Marty Frederick has also been woefully managed - his miss-management has been hidden by the Hayes miss-management. Forget about playing Marty as a half back flanker and try him as a high forward with the instructions that it's OK for you to have a ping at the goals when they are in sight! and not to pass it off.

Last years trade period had this odour about it as well

Oh the board knows, they don't care - they're too busy with padding out their CV than they are in winning.
