Honestly seen more in Whitlock only playing a few games than in Lords 30 or whatever it is.

Happy to be proven wrong if we hang onto him.

Funnily enough though with Whitlock emerging are we not fairly well stocked now with tall forwards? With three of them 25 and under.
Agreed, as a lightly built 18 yo (who should eventually bulk up considerably) Whitlock in only a few AFL appearances has shown more talent with his ability to mark the ball at its highest point plus be a useful back up ruckman than anything Lord has achieved in all but one of his 34 games.

There were 3 Sturt players I liked the looks of: Angry Anderson, Tom Lewis and Conforti.

I thought Lewis should have won the medal- he was great early, when the game was won. Can anyone explain to me why he isn't on the AFL radar? His tackle numbers are insane, his strength is very good, his hands are very good and my impression is that he is not slow. Even winning the Margery hasn't put him in the conversation for an AFL spot. Why?

Anderson has good size, speed and skill.

Conforti kicks goals. Good overhead too.

If Charlie Dixon thinks Ollie Lord can be Port's next power forward he has been imbibing in too much of the Lobethal scrumpy. Sounds like something an old team mate might say to bolster an old mate's confidence.

whitlock has already gone past lord

Similar thoughts re Lewis. Former captain St Peters A team. He's been injured, I think an ACL and a ruptured spleen.
In an early write-up it was mentioned he needed to improve his speed for the AFL. Noted he can actually kick a footy.

I thought Angry Anderson was quite promising but lacked any explosive pace.
Strong overhead and clean hands though.

Drafting mature agers in this draft isn’t the worst idea. Those two seem viable options stats wise.

Having said that, Brodie, Drew, Wines and potentially Fiorini plus Anderson might be too much.

Angus Anderson, would be someone I'd give a SSP train on spot. Good size for a midfielder with some modern day AFL traits. Put on a show in the GF today

Is he eligible? I thought SSP was limited to players who have been on an AFL list previously or who have nominated for the most recent National Draft. Looks like Anderson made it onto Sydney's covid contingency list, but I'd be surprised if that counts for SSP purposes.

I guess the worst that can happen is we ask him to nominate for the 2025 draft and someone else selects him?

I just assumed he nominated tbh but it might be via the national draft if it isn't SSP. Either way I think its worth a punt

C4[2]Yo`DooR Do you think Jake Rogers is more likely to move to Victoria than Adelaide mate? Or is there genuine mutual interest?
Not sure about his intentions sorry, just know that you are into him and his management.
