Which Luna Park is that?

Also,

They had another logo prior.

My new home just spent money on a new logo.
The new 'logo' at the top replaces the logo at the bottom.

At least they didn't spend much, because they certainly didn't get much.

Well it couldn't have too much individuality. Vancouver makes way too much out of pretending to be a whole range of US cities!

This is the problem with wordmark logos like these - yes there's a level of skill to them but when you literally just use a face value font and make something in two minutes like this - well, I'd love to see how the designer justified the price.

Probably by using wanky words to describe the symbolism in the colours.

Was slightly surprised recently to read just how far down in the ratings Nova had fallen (in Melbourne at least). Then I thought about it for a sec, and realised everything that made them stand out from the rest was completely gone, and it all made sense. I used to listen to them in the mid-2000s when I was between the ages of around 16-19 - the whole "2 ads" thing was a great initiative - but they slowly morhped into Fox-lite so I moved on (plus my musical tastes completely changed).

You know things are bad when you're getting beaten by Smooth FM. I don't think this rebrand is going to do much unfortunately.

Their music programming is a pile of shit but my god they have the best drive radio show #ktm

It's just the same without the G

On my search for the logo I came across this horrendous new jumper for the Rebels!! Not only that they called themselves the Greater Western Victoria Rebels!! What the hell is the greater meant to mean?? Ah well, just continues the trend of anything North Ballarat touches at the moment turning to crap this year.

I was always concerned that Greater Western Sydney would start a trend of including 'greater' where it makes no geographical sense. It seems it's started.

Not really when our main competition is called the same name.

The Swans, Penrith, Parramatta, West Tigers don't use the name Western Sydney in their name...unless you are referring to a side that plays in the off season with minimal overlap as your main competition? Because if that really is the case that says more about the ineptitude of the Giants than anything else. At any rate the Giants were founded three years before they that shall not be named so that point is completely invalid, if anything it emphases the use of 'greater' is even more pointless!

Canberra is South-West of Blacktown, so technically the area served by the Giants is greater than Western Sydney.
That would only make sense if they didn't acknowledge Canberra as being a separate entity to the concept of 'greater western sydney' through the depiction of the Canberra name on the back of their jumper so it feels included knowing the GWS term does not suffice.

You're quoting NRL teams that represent places, not areas as proof that Greater Western Sydney is unnecessary. Penrith and Parramatta are cities like Sydney.
