“The one thing I will say with the captaincy is when that person does get announced they’ll have a lot of really strong lieutenants around them,” he said.

And people are saying Dusty is not a good fit due to his lack of media skills. No doubt Nank has done media after games, but honestly can't remember one. Grimes is who I would be front runner.

Yes. I remember that incident now. Still, fending off BT for one of his comical attempting interviews is not avoiding the media. Nank would be fine I'm sure with the media. Not sure he's in the top 3 under consideration though. Gives 100%, apart from media though, on field I don't see him doing much finger pointing and organising. He could be doing a lot that can't be visually seen though I guess. And at training behind the scenes stuff.

I reckon Floss was certainty if not for poo dot gate.

I like to imagine the hold up is the board spending many a late night discussing whether or not sticking a finger in a bum should prevent the captaincy going to him or if the sponsors would be happy with the decision to appoint him.
