Finished it up tonight. Really good game.

-They nailed Venom's intimidation factor and the taking over of the city by the symbiote really felt like end-of-the-world high stakes stuff that you would expect in a final entry
-Story felt a little rushed in parts, wished they had stretched out the parts where Harry is first infected and then Peter with a few more missions, would have made the turns to the dark side a little more organic. It all kind of happens really quickly.
-Kraven's death, didn't see that coming in that way. Good theme music and he and his goons felt like Bane in the Dark Knight Rises. I thought he actually might survive instead of getting what he wanted the whole time, so in a sense I guess he won although he pretty quickly became an afterthought.
-Li's redemption was handled well.
-The lack of cops in the story was pretty funny. Should have been put in a few cutscenes. Instead it feels like they are just kicking back while the city is taken over.
-MJ wiping out symbiote nests including a behemoth, yeah don't know about that ha
-It seems a bit weird for Norman to be so pissed at the Spidermen at the end, I get that he is in grief and they need to justify a Goblin turn, but he made it pretty clear to Spidey in the lab that he wanted the symbiote off Harry. Why not just kill off Harry. I guess Venom will probably return in S3 if there are traces left in Harry. No other reason to keep him alive. He'll wake up from the coma for sure.

As for the open world I never got sick of it in fact was wanting more after completing it 100% so I don't share the complaints that it was too bloated. I actually think more side missions would be good. Only issue I'd say is the cops should have played a bigger part like they did in the first game. Even if they are just fighting enemies randomly. The lack of police presence was a bit jarring and felt the city made a bit static although I was reading there was controversy about the first game being too pro-cop since it released during the height of the BLM movement so they toned them down here.

Agres with a lot of the above

The lack of cops is pretty amuzing although I didn't notice it that much until you mentioned it

The MJ part was over the top 100%

I'm not really across the Spiderverse, never seen a Spiderman movie before which was actually pretty cool as I had no idea who was going to turn into who
