. Bad luck if you got booted from a silver/bronze game though.

Got booted from those, funny enough as I'd played series I go well in the MP. Though I've noticed the Adepts steal kills with the throw. Need to unlock that. :D

Sorry forgot something

SPOILERS

HIGHLIGHT
- EDI's comment about bringing down Cerberus' servers by uploading XXX Zetabytes of p@rn... from Joker's personal collection. LOL :D

EDI FTW

So do I need to play multiplayer to get my galactic readiness as high as possible? Because I'm close to the end of the game and that bar doesn't seem to be filling up like I'd hoped.

Yes you do apparently.

I just started playing through ME1 again. This will be the third time I play it and the second I've finished ME2. THEN I will finally play ME3 which is sitting on my desk pining for me :)

I've carried two characters over from ME1. For some reason my custom face from ME1/2 was a lot different in 3?

Once done, I'll probably do a third run through...yet to play Jerk Sheppard. :)

I was disappointed with the ending, like many others, however I do think that
Shepard being indoctrinated
is a big twist; at least I wasn't expecting it. But i'm also not sure if that is what the ending is supposed to be as I didn't even pick up on it until I started reading theories on the Bioware forums.

That is why i'm disappointed, because
it raised more questions than it answered and it wasn't executed well enough for the ending to be clear.
But maybe they wanted it like that; to leave it open for interpretation (and it has achieved that).

Exactly what I'm doing, about to start ME2 for the third time, once finished I will then start ME3.

How much are the quarians involved? Tali died in my playthough of ME2 cause she wasn't loyal to me
after I exposed her father as a traitor
, am I missing out on much?

I don't think you miss out on anything
Tali is in my game but if she died in yours then she'll probably be replaced by someone similar, for example, Wrex is dead in my game and is replaced by another krogan called Wreav

The main problem i had with it was it discredits all the moral choices you've made over 3 games and essentially comes down to "pick whatever, Eh, Apart from that i thought it was alright. Plus the "He has many more Adventures/Buy DLC packs is piss poor form from EA to ride the Mass effect carcass for as much $$$ as it can get

I've been playing for ages and still haven't ****ing seen Tali yet. WHERE IS THE LOVE OF MY LIFE?! Dem hips! Dat voice!

That ending has killed whatever replay value the game had for me. Think I'll have to let things cool down a bit before I attempt a replay

In the days preceding the release of this I got myself pumped for everything Mass Effect, could not wait to playthrough with the several characters I'd created. After I finished two I immediately started again with a new character in order to get a new feel and result in the last mission.

After finishing this, I still wanted to play something Mass Effect but I couldn't play 3 as the ending seemed so linear there didn't seem to be a point, so I started a new character in ME:2

I just don't know how the could see that as an ending to appease the majority of players. Surely someone had to have spoken out on it? I want to believe the popular theory that you'd all would have hear about (don't really wanna spoil it for those still finishing up) I really do, but I just don't know whether it will go that way.

And even if something is added through DLC, I still think that's pretty low and cheap. We probably deserve to have a completed game sold to us if we're paying over $80 for it.

I agree. I was planning on a trilogy run sometime this year.
Not any longer unless that nonsensical POS ending is changed into something that makes some kind of sense. The ending would have been a downer if it had been logical. As it stands, it makes zero sense. WTF is this magical fairy dust turning people into cyborgs? WTF bioware. How did Joker pick up some of my crew who were with me to the end? Why is Joker bailing on us in the first place? none of it makes any sense. WORST ENDING EVER. Oh, and that little reminder to us, after buying three games to 'continue Shepard's adventures (after you killed him no less) by buying the upcoming DLC' was classless and a slap in the face, though I expect no less from this scumbag developer these days. Bioware... you officially suck.

I'll agree the ending was disappointing. Too many loopholes, not well thought through. Hell, it looks like they just said, shit shit lets finish this game already! We gots to make a Mass Effect FPS!

It's not stopping me from playing this saga. I've spent my years dedicated to the game and I reckon I'll be just as devoted to the games for years to come. But like everyone has said, absolute POS ending

OK guys, so I made the call to play the game right / Have bought Mass Effect and will go and pick up ME2 at some point before I touch 3.

Quick question, does anyone know if when importing a character you can change the class?

My mate suggested playing as an Infiltrator in 2 & 3 due to it's invisibility cloak, but apparently the Infiltrator doesn't have this in 1? So if I play through 1 as a Solider, am I stuck as a Soldier, or can you modify your class when moving over to 2?

You can modify.
