Zero percent chances he goes to West Coast. He's a winner and the only reason he'd leave GC to to go to a winning team. Suns are on the rise so chances are he will stay as reported by Cal Twomey yesterday on Gettable. My opinion it will be a 2 year deal which takes him to free agency. As a suns supporter I'd love a longer term deal thoughLong shot I know but I'd love us (WCE) to offer him a huge deal. (Warner offer+)
See if we can make him think long and hard about it.
We're in desperate need of his type (Yes I'm aware we need everything but it starts in the guts and Rowell in an absolute beast)
Bit of a fanboi TBH
Look - I agree it's highly unlikely but make him think very hard about it, by becoming the highest paid player in the AFL.Zero percent chances he goes to West Coast. Money isn’t the issue if it was the AFL would just give him an ambassadorship to stay at the sunsLook - I agree it's highly unlikely but make him think very hard about it, by becoming the highest paid player in the AFL.
If you don't ask, you don't get...Other ways to value add too.
Make an offer/overall package too good to refuse....the dude eats grass so I'm sure he'd love a Hungry Jack franchise too.
Then sell the story about becoming a key figure in turning the club into a powerhouse again.
Like I said, highly unlikely and I'm a fanboi but stranger things have happened.
Id go 7 year 20 mill deal myself.Look - I agree it's highly unlikely but make him think very hard about it, by becoming the highest paid player in the AFL.

Okay...I'll try a counterpoint. (My club is crap and it's fun shits and giggles. Dreamers dream)Money isn’t the issue if it was the AFL would just give him an ambassadorship to stay at the suns
This is just historically not true, we have had AFL ambassadors for various roles sure, some of them include some very high profile players like Gary Ablett but the AFL offers top players at every club significant ambassador money.Money isn’t the issue if it was the AFL would just give him an ambassadorship to stay at the suns
Bumping this comment for no apparent reasonUnless the wheels fall off completely, you'd be mad to leave Suns right now. And they should only get better.
If they miss finals again he will be goneHave no doubt he will stay.
Been off the boil for a couple games now was he tagged in the Brisbane game? why is he getting such low numbers.
Can't handle a tag it seems. I think that Rowbottom tagged him in the Swans game too.Dunkley got his man
Not sure why but he does seem to run out of steam after a series of good games.
rowell is a good microcosm for the suns as a whole.
looks brilliant for the first 4 games of a season then lets supporters down year on year.
2024Now that I think about this more it does seem a pattern with him.
Goes missing after the bye. Perfect fit for us.2024

In his ‘quiet’ patch mid 2024 he averaged 19.5 possessions 5.5 clearances and 9.8 tackles. Not too bad.
Team is absolutely stacked with talent with improvement to come and more talent coming onto the list. Would be nuts to leaveNot a snow flakes chance in hell will this guy leave the suns in the next 5 years
Has put in all the work and his team is ready to have a real shot and he doesnt want to miss out
