Brown is cleary better. He is a better forward and has more impact on the game. He can win a match for Brisbane.

Pavlich has more runs on the board (and is far from finished) but Brown is more likely to win games singlehandedly...too tough to call.

Pavlich is more consistent and can play a variety of rolls (well). I'd take him for us.

Though JB can take a game by the scruff of the neck and beat it into submission.

Brown for me. I don't know if this is satistically true but pav seems to miss more shots at goal when it is really needed by the team, brown seems to slot them through. However pav is the more consistent player, has a bigger tank and is more versitile but id still go brown as a forward.

I'd pick Pav over Brown anyday, may be a little bias:) but hes got more runs on the board, much more durable, bigger tank and he is versatile (he's an All Australian full back). Both players are brilliant and can win games off their own boot but i think Pavlich does it more consistently

Brown for me he has more agression and it's something I think my team needs! they both have the same ability (to win games off their own boot) but the first one that came to mind was Brown!

Though they both play basically the same roles for the clubs,I think that Brown is a far more aggressive player than Pavlich. But Pavlich I think plays a lot more roles in the Dockers than Brown plays for Brissie.
It is very hard to pick but I will keep Pavlich.
Gods son,not sure where you got your info on Pav's kicking for goal but would dispute that. Not sure Pav has had to kick a goal to win the game, but would give him the ball every time if we needed to kick a goal after the siren.

If Brown was as good as the media and the average fanboi hypes him to be he'd have 11 Brownlows, 4 Norm Smiths and at least 1 of Rove's gold logies.

Pav.

PS - Just saw post #20. Ridiculous.
