Yeah, that integrated cinematics/chapter thing is becoming a gaming standard now. This game is basically Uncharted taken to another level (not a bad thing, as long as there's that signature MP film noir tho).

I think I see early in that video a hint that there are flashback/nightmare type sequences.

hadn't watched any footage til those 2 clips then and am beyond impressed!

the whole gritty atmosphere that you can feel through those clips alone.....wow.
 
Looks like the usual Max Payne high standard. Been a long time since 2 (might have been the last game i really played on PC come to think of it), can't wait

I'm going to say yes to an extent.

Although the gameplay of the previous two Max's were what made it standout too, the story was the best thing about the 2 games undoubtedly.

So unique, dark and humourous in parts too.

The first Max Payne just hit PSN this week, free to PS+ subs.

Otherwise you can get 1 and 2 on Steam still for relatively cheap.

Well worth playing, but no doubt there'll be some catch up at the start of 3 too so you shouldn't be far behind anyway.
 
Bullet time, Pain killers and some conspiracy is all i remember from the others
Looking forward to this!

Definitely. Have also been taking copious bottles of painkillers to get myself an addiction to them just like Max. My vision and speech is blurred and slurred and I'm passing out every 10 minutes...almost ready!!!

Very nice.

I also hired someone to come murder my daughter and wife, just to get that mindset of Max. I now also call my new girlfriend Mona, I think things will work out well with her..
 
I took it too far, made myself constipated and have been eating a lemon a day just so my face looks like this

Playing the leaked version ATM, and this game is a first day buy for sure.
Everything about this game is amazing, the game play, the story line, awesome atmosphere, everything.

Really I am struggling to find any flaws in this game.

Beautiful game. Rockstar Games and Take Two have really outdone themselves. AGAIN!
