Stick him back there, I know he is a capable forward but with our backline problems, and teams getting scoring shots almost everytime they go forward we need someone with experience and class down there.
I have no doubt that at some stage McPharlin will make an excellent forward, but currently I believe he would be more valuable down back than up forward.
He provides drive and provides a contest, at the moment hes not getting opportunities up forward
