Medhurst for Tarrant

I would not be throwing Medders on the scrap heap just yet.

As another poster put it, Tarrant is happy to walk away from a club which stood by him when he was struggling, helped reinvent him a backman and now that he has some currency leave.
He's what 30 this year?
I'd take Tarrant but only at minimal cost and then only if Presti has flagged his intentions for next season.

Medhurst is still very much a required player. He is one of ours now. Blossomed into an AA with us.

I love Tarrant- was my favourite Pies player and I'd love to have him back but wouldn't offload Medders. He still has plenty to offer and much to prove.

He will be 29 in December and can still play for another 3 seasons.

Doubt his body will let him. Not worth giving anyone up for a stop-gap player for probably 2 seasons at best. Medhurst will be back in 2011, and will get another shot at it.

Collingwood have the advantage of putting Taz on veteran's list, so only 1/2 of wage in salary cap. I think it would be a great move to get him back

I was talking about Medders, who will be turning 29 in December, not Taz who turns 30 this week.

Unfortunately this won't happen.

Fremantle have no interest in Medhurst.

If a trade for Tarrant occured involving Collingwood most likely it would be Jack for Tarrant +Pick/ pick upgrade (possibly) in the scenario that Jack asked to move for more opportunities. Probably the only deal they would take from us since they don't want picks.

Josh/Medhurst for Taz just won't happen..

His last sentence on TFS sounded like he misses the place and wants to come back.

I want him back, especially if Presti retires. Trade Davis, he's from Perth and we still have Dick and Medhurst as our small forwards.

certainly would be a romantic pick up. Alot will rely on how bucks sees him fitting into the team. I believe he has matured alot in his time over there with maybe one or two slip ups but is definately a different person than he was down here.

Anthony has been redundant and if were going to trade him ever it must be this trade window where he has currency. Personally me it would be this

Tarrant + 2nd rounder for Anthony and 4th rounder.

He still loves us thats why he lets Cloke dominate everytime he plays on him. I dont know if we should trade Medhurst for him becuase his best is pretty good but id love Tarrant back at the club.

If Presti doesn't go around again I think Tarrant would be a very handy acquisition. Was my favourite player before he left so I would love nothing more than to have him back at the club.
