Dave, 1980 was 30 years ago, it's been 20 years since we've won anything. Not exactly reticently either.

Thread merged. Please post any Cloke/King incident stuff in this thread from now on. No need for a plethora of threads on the subject.
What can you say about Richmond anyway? They have a great club theme song... and that's about it.
Plethora sounds like a disease of the penis.
"After having sex with Jenny I woke up with a nasty case of plethora."

Amazing stuff!Very much so
I called king a dog mostly because the richmond supporters applauding him made me sick and i wanted him to know what an opposition supporter thinks of him. His brothers then promised to belt me and any other collingwood supporter in sight, i laughed and told them to settle its a practice match. They continued their we'll get ya i continued watching the game.
David Cloke walked up up behind him said something like "dont worry ill handle this" then told the king family to STFu which caused King's dad to say something about Travis. Which made David fume, at which stage the siren went i stood, Cloke let a few choice words fly and we all walked off.
I have no doubt what the King family said about travis (i wont repeat it ao please dont ask) meant there was no chance he would back King up, what i would give credit to jake for, he did tell his brothers not to be stupid when they stood up yelling at all and sundry
You are just a Collingwood bashing troll that switched teams from St.Kilda to Geelong because they won the premiership. I read your posts on the Collingwood board just to see if you behave differently here, but you don't, and no wonder you're on my ignore list because you're completely ignorant and you have nothing to say.I think what the main issue is and not that I agree or know for sure is the MaGuane apparent biting incident. From what is reported he made referance to Cloke having bitten him in last years game but chose not to persue it. Thats what I see as Richmonds reason to gripe rightly or wrongly I dont care.
Rohan Connolly is a good and fair minded journalist, and what he said in that article is logical and common sense. There is a good article in The Age today which is bucking the trend
They don't have a great theme song though. Unless a club song mentions the name of the team, then it can't be great at all, and their song does not mention Richmond's name once. It's too impersonal because it could be about the Heidelberg Football Club. What can you say about Richmond anyway? They have a great club theme song... and that's about it.

I like Collingwood's more because it mentions the name of the club twice, as well as the nickname of the club once. Of course that is not the only criteria for a good club song, but in my opinion, every club song should mention the name of the club as the first priority, and then construct the rest of the lyrics around that. Richmond's, Essendon's and Melbourne's club songs for example don't do that.It is pretty good, I played for the Tigers in the Amatures, and sung it every week, as we were dominant.

Not to mention the only club song that mentions the supporters![]()

So, King pleaded guilty I see.
Trav basically did nothing wrong too in that case.
