I am not against Sudanese immigration, and I agree with the timeline.

The problem is the Labor party have been refusing to admit there was even a problem with street gangs. We know it is virtually impossible to be proactive when it comes to potential problems with minorities entering the country.

There's no incentive for the opposition in Victoria or the Feds to help the Andrews government try and do anything about this. They've politicised the issue and while they're in opposition would prefer this problem to continue and even worsen because it suits their agenda.

The media have given them a pass to the African gangs for so long. These gangs are far far worse than reported in the media. Far worse.

According to data from the 2016 Census Victoria’s total population was 5,926,620 residents. Of that 5,665 were born in Sudan. These stats confirm that Sudanese born make up just 0.11 per cent of Victoria’s population. That's one in a thousand.

Overall trends in violent crime in Vic are down but aggravated burglary, riot and affray show worrying trends. They used to talk about gangs but now they term it 'networked youth offending'. They can also hide ethnicity behind such wank. Sudanese-born youths were responsible for 7.44 per cent of home invasions, 5.65 per cent of car thefts and 13.9 per cent of aggravated robberies. Compared to 0.11 per cent of the population that is a huge misrepresentation.

There is trend for youth crime descending in Victoria but the Sudanese in the 10 to 18 years age range are responsible for the rise in serious assault, aggravated burglary and motor vehicle theft. The first step to countering it is to acknowledge the problem.

The media is focusing on them because they are massively over represented in crime, such as home invasions. This clearly identifies a problem with the community which has gone on for too long because people like you have tried to cover up the issue.
