We lack Ruck and KPD depth with Reefs injury unless Howes develops quickly in that role. So hard to know.

The history of MSD picks are for the future not now. Project players. Collingwood have done really well picking players with AFL traits. Our list has a high number of rookies, SSP, late draft picks and MSD. The list needs elite traits. And now. I fear that the list balance risks too many fringe players with MSD selection(s). Yes, I love Howes, Noble, Steene. But Begg, Bytel, Eyre etc.

Generally with MSD you go with best available talent, whom you think has potential to make AFL, not needs specific. You can't be picky in these sort of drafts.
