I think people are wildly underrating how he's playing. Still one of the smartest guys out there and an elite user.

I'd have Stanley, Tuohy, Hawkins, Rohan and Bews being moved on before him at the moment. Add a few delistings of younger players and I see no reason to force him out the door.

agree with this, he is still one of our best kicks entering the 50. but yes he has slowed down a bit and i wouldnt be surprise if he gives it up end of year.

Mitch bis UFA so …if he wants to then thats up to him. A contract that involves post career employment ...

but I suspect he gets offered a 1 years deal and plays the 300 at Geelong.

If TBone, Tuohy, and possibly Stanley retire at the end of this season, then I could see the Cats offering Mitch another year if his body is holding up. I think the Cats would prefer to space these exits out some to allow for other players to fill those roles with that senior support still in the team. That would give Mitch a chance to reach the 300 club, too.
