Because it wasn't there....Post-match interview with Hannebery and channel 7 commentators don't bring it up.
Pathetic.

I'm more interested by Heeney kicking Stratton in the ribs, after shoving his head into the ground, 100m off the ball

And?Foxtel did.
And?
So much like Taylir Duryea's elbow... careless. He did the standard try and avoid throwing the player under the bus, but when it was brought up he tried to laugh it off. Said it was an accident but it left his voice was hoarse for a bit and he couldn't bark instructions for a while. Then went straight on to crediting Tom Mitchell for the tagging job, saying it was his best game both ways and his most vocal game as a leader.
It wasn't an elbow as the OP stated, but do you think DH got his back up for no reason?

Have no doubt there was high contact. Certainly not an elbow and just because DH got upset about it, doesn't mean he was deliberately struck. Just looked an accident while they were in a bit of push and shove.
Duryea was lucky he didn't cop a week. Was worse than this incident.
The MRP will decide whether the throat in "high" contact. Previously they have said it isnt, but they can decide the rules on a weekly basis.
If anything, it gets a fine. Or they will say the impact was below the force required for a charge.
Has the media been saying much? If not, then it probably wont get anything.
I thought there had been a couple this year that had neck as high? Could be wrong though its in the area they seem to make it up as they go. Totally depends on who the player is and the media fuss. The MRP will decide whether the throat in "high" contact. Previously they have said it isnt, but they can decide the rules on a weekly basis.

I think Ralph tried to stitch him up on Fox Footy Friday night but aside from that I didn't catch much AFL coverage over the weekend.
Very little in it.
Hannebery, on the other hand, should get a fine for his constant staging and whining (about every damn thing that doesn't go right for him) to the umpires. He's been doing both for years now, and it's embarrassing to watch.
So it depends on how much traction Ralph got this morning. Havent bothered listening to SEN yet.
Probably a fine though. But the MRP may be too busy deciding whether to hand out Melee fines from the Port game. Clearly its a Melee, but do they let it slide, do they only go after a couple of the worst offenders from each team, or does the AFL increase its revenue by $30k...
I'm assuming it was the fallout of the hit by Jonas (if you havent seen that it was one of the dirtiest hits in years - straight elbow strike to the back of Gaff's head). Basically involved all of both teams (barring Gaff who was unconscious) in the usual push and shove that follows a dirty hit. So if they are going to be handing out fines it would to be almost every player who played.Heard a talk backer call in to SEN this morning about thug Mitchell but the Morning Crew didn't seem to give it any traction.
Didn't see the PA game. Not sure what happened there.
