Moore Vs Schnider

Personally i prefer Moore.
Both have excellent quick hands in traffic.
Both are reasonably quick.
Both are good at ground level.
Now i think i can draw some differences between them, mind you you have to consider Snides has played alot more footy.
Both are dangerous around goal, for mine i like Moore, seems to make better contact on the ball, has stronger body and excelleration to break free of packs.
Moore i reckon has a better set shot on gaol than Schnider.
Moore seems to work harder and be in alot of contests.
Moore i reckon uses the ball more effectively than Schnider did, kicks the ball flatter and hits targets often, unlike Schnider where he would often kick over the head of leading players.
I like the way Moore gets the ball, seems to always be in the right place, and will only get better..
All in all it was sad to see the back of Schnider but i think we have done very well covering him.

Moore plays for 4 quarters.
Moore gets paid less making him greater value............for now!
Moore is hungry for success.
Schneider has tasted success & played like he lost the desire when he was required to stand up. Last year Roos asked him the hard questions when many played injured but he couldn't answer them correctly. Hence the trade to St Kilda.
Loved Schneids but am happier with Moore!

both of these boys are amazing players and have soooo much to give
but it makes me wonder if Snides was still playing for us would we be saying this stuff about Moore (thats if he were given a game if snides was here with us) We have no idea how Snides would have played this year if he was still with the Swans for all we know he could have kicked more goals and had a good run in the middy...but moore now has that role from what i have seen from Moore he is a dead ringer for Snides which comforts me a little coz i am growing fond of Moore and as much as i like him how do we know he wont slip in the next few months even years!

I guess im still very bitter about Snides being traded

all im saying is i cant judge Moore on Snides because idd be giving a very different view if Snides was still with the swans

All i can say is they are both very talented young players with many years to come in their AFL carees and i will watch and support both very closely i guess we will see who is the better player!

and just to lighten things up BOTH ARE HOT AS HELL lol

Give him a break he just got traded to a whole new team and doesnt play the same role as he did and being new he has to learn to fit in

i think hes gonna be amazing for the Saints and in the end it will be our loss

schneider is going only okay in a side going only okay
moore is firing in a team on the rise

moore is certainly harder, more reliable, and seems to have a much bigger engine, the hope for years was that schneider could play the role that moore now seems to have made his own
i'm not trying to have a go at schneids, but moore has been a revelation this season

Moore is a smarter player.
Moore has cleaner hands, especially in packs.
Moore has more poise and class.
Moore has more consistant skills.

Moore will be a much better player.

Schneider always had the potential, but never lived up to it.

Moore and Schneider are nothing alike, except for the fact they are both small and played for the Bloods.

Moore is more of an inside player, with better vision, Schneid's more of an outside runner. Moore is a better set shot, but Schneid's was better on the move, re V's Saint prelim '05, last quarter. Moore is more consistent, but Schneid's could turn it on for a quarter and win you a game.....

I think so far with Moore we got a Schneider with better tackling prowess, more stamina (don't quote me on this, not stats just obs) class and less space in the salar cap

Still miss Schneids, though. Nothing like seeing him fire, but we only got that here and there in the end.

Rate them at the same time in thier careers, Id take Moore, hes getting better and better each game, this guys gonna be better than people expect if he keeps improving at this rate!

Schneiders debut year was excellent and Moore has a lot more to prove but he sure is showing a fair bit and whilst he has been around a little while he is the pick of the new blood in the squad earning his spot and adding real value.

Schneider plays a 'recievers' role and is a good finnisher, Moore gets his own ball, Id take him everytime for that reason alone, but its not really fair to compare them, different roles!

Gee I loved Schneids but that was the defining factor wasn't it. You've summed it up perfectly. If you rate them at the same time in thier careers then you'd go Moorey.
