What a terrible blow for young menzel, such a talented footballer and having made the decision to have LARS, this would be shattering. Mora was also in contact with Menzel to compare progress and this will have his confidence in his Knee at a very low point. I think this will stop any chance of Mora playing in the next 8 weeks or more. I would happily wait until next year if it would make any difference, but that is the question, would it make any difference to wait until next year???

Given poor young fella Menzel has just done a knee for the fourth time in 18 months I hope people don't get too high an expectation of the "magic solution" of LARS (or any other surgery for that matter). Mora's knees are what they are, and regardless of whether he comes back fast or slow, this year or next, he is always going to be at higher risk than average of doing a knee again. On that basis alone, any games he plays for us from here on out are, frankly, bonus games. Good luck Mora, hope you get another 50 games under your belt!!

I felt the exact same way when Barlow broke his leg. My hope for Morabito is that he shows enough this year to get a contract extension. I wish that there was a provision to be able to rookie list a player that has been injured for a long period of time, because I really want the club to keep Morabito.

If he can get himself a few games this year (either WAFL or AFL) and stay fit into next pre-season theres no telling how far he could go. But you are right, there is so much water to go under the bridge yet.
