Any chane Mora will return after the bye?

Reckon there is a good chance he will be cleared to play WAFL after the bye or maybe starting next week. Had a full preseason but will play a couple of months of WAFL football first - as a forward probably. If he can return to AFL this year it would be huge.... go Mora!

Well I loved that clip - shouldn't have watched it though. I am all teary now and husband is looking at me and shaking his head! He just doesn't get it....
Please please please let Mora return to his best, no more hiccups along the way.

Agree. I was close to tearing up. Sheer cruelty what he has had to go through and what he may still have to go through.

It would be like a fairytale if he returned to be the player we know he could be.

with the midfield going so well at the moment, it just makes sense that Mora would initially return in the Sutcliffe/Crozier forward flank role, which could eventuate into a possible CHF role, one which I believe could easily be his second calling as a footballer.

And if you read the West Australian it will be buried 6 pages from the back in the bottom left corner where nobody can see.

I know.

A little off topic, but I really hope we get to win it someday with guys like Mick, Mora, Spurr, on the park - battlers who fought through adversity with courage, determination, and resilience to win the ultimate prize. ;)

shame we aren't Vlad's pet. if we ever won a cup -with our personnel of mature age rookies, late draft picks, a one-club captain who could have finished up his career anywhere he wanted but chose to stay, and players coming back from injury against all odds, a coach who got so close to the chocolates thrice but never brought them home, and a club that has never brought home a flag at all - it would make an awesome script for a smashing footy/sports movie.

That's fair enough though, there are a lot more important stories reserved for back page.

Ate out and saw that there's a spread in the Sunday Slime sports section on Mora and his comeback.

I had a read as well and its not a bad piece but still a lot of ifs and buts as to weightier he can still get back to where he was prior to all the opps on his knee and if the knee will do the job we can only pray that all his pain has him playing and getting the kudos he deserves and enjoying his footy .

1000 days wow what a rehab and still not over yet that's guts and fortitude for any young person to show and what a statement to make for everyone ever to have a misfortune in their life .

Well 6 pages back from page 140 something or other. For some reason the West has canned the universal sports on the back page in favour of lifestyle and entertainment tid bits (at least it had the last time I bought a paper). Sure sales are probably dropping all the time but I'm not sure the New Idea approach is gonna turn things around.

My lady's Nonni saved the article for me. Bless her. However, it was just a blatant cut and paste of the great interview that Mora did for the club on DTV, post his LARS effort. Plus a piece-meal conversation the writer had with Bond at the urinal. Pretty lazy journalism really.
