Yep September late through to October.

Really happy to confirm that I am arriving in Germany on the Monday following our Grand Final victory. In a rare display of multiculturism or just 'fitting in', I will willingly set aside my scotch consumption for a couple of days whilst I indulge in far to much german beer with my brother and our wives. Yes we will need our wives for direction and support after 8 hours in a beer tent.

But don't worry you scotchies out there, I will be resuming scotch consumption through Poland (brrr) Italy, Greece, England and then my final place that just might just kill me - Ireland. What a way to celebrate the first grand final win

Surely you'll have a bit of Irish whisky when in Ireland? Some of them are very good.

He trained with the main group today and looked great. He then went back to his usual runs along the boundary line, however this week his pace and work load has been increased.

That's great. The 'weeks column' means little now at his stage of rehab. It's the sort of work he's doing on the track that is the real indicator. As long as he doesn't go back to light running all of a sudden, I think we can assume that he's tracking in the right direction.

I have also pointed out to our wives some stunning outfits that the local ladies wear. They don't seem interested, actually violently opposed would be a better description - go figure - when in germany I say!

The planning is as good as could be hoped..It was either fly friday night and have a shot at watching or fly saturday morning and miss altogether (like last year). However, Like an idiot, i left my £200 outfit in australia before moving here. If i can get someone to pull it out of a box i might not have to worry about it and head straight to the game.

I surely will, as well as a few tours of the more famous distilleries, hence the comment that i might not survive!

Munich is great. I get there a couple of times a year for work.

You should try eating here at the Haxnbauer (http://www.kuffler.de/de/muenchen/haxnbauer/index.php)

The schweinhaxn (pork knuckle) there is awesome. Also, it is in the middle of town, neat the Hofbrauhaus and the Platzl.

It is pretty cheap and they specialise in the pork knuckles. They roast them on an old rotisserie contraption. It is all charcoal too, so the taste is smoky etc.

I eat there a couple of times a week when in Munich.

I miss Deutschland.

I've had the Pork knuckle somewhere in Munich also, buggered if I know where though, the general rule being thalt shall not be sober in Germany made sure of it.

So back on track, any ideas from about Mora's return? Have any of the guys who head to training asked?

We had a very quick chat with him today at training.

All he did was run laps today and did not do any ball work at all, but he may have done ball work yesterday. It looks as though he is trying to build his fitness up and keep working the knee.

One of Bluey's mates said to him, "How much fitter do you need to be Mora?"

To which Mora replied "Tell me about it!"

So Mora is just as frustrated as we are. He looks great and moves well and it kills us to see him just run laps every day.

We then asked him when will he play for Peel?

And he replied "Soon I hope."

Will it be this year we asked?

"Yes it will" he said.

Nah, he needs to get on the park. Not earlier than necessary, but when he's ready. Never thought he'd play AFL this year, and that's getting close to out of the question now, but WAFL resies and a couple of league games should be on the cards for this year.

If he gets through 4-5 WAFL games, he can then hit the pre-season hard. Gets through that and we've got a top shelf and hungry player into our 2014 line-up.

during my first footy trip to Melbourne (when I was still single) I was staying in a St Kilda youth hostel & told a Kiwi chick that I'd like to give her a number between 5 and 7.
