Most UNDERrated player in the AFL?

Sorry Bee, I actually didn't mean it like that at all. I meant to say as far as recognition of Carlton players is concerned but was lazy and just put recognition 'at' Carlton which puts a totally different spin on things. I really meant underated by the football public and media as a whole.

324 games, 35 years of age and still most people outside North (and maybe the Fitzroy supporters) haven't heard of JOHN BLAKEY. A great footballer, a great athlete and a great bloke.
May he have many more fantastic seasons with the ROOS and break Tucks 426 game record.

LOL, that was fun. "Someone buy a grammar book for Joel", that the only comeback you have? Get real!

Anyway, Tarrant it a talent, he will like I said earlier be better than Croad. Croad is a great player however I believe that Tarrant will be better. This is my opinion...I don't care how many of you think otherwise. Let's just wait and see.

Don't!

Stop it!

Oh, that's it, you're dobbed on!

MUM! NATHAN'S PICKING ON ME AGAIN!!!

Chris Tarrant, Chris Tarrant

i have only two things to say

1. Trent Croad would kick tarrents ass anyday

2. Darren Hulme would have to be the most underrated player

"Give McCabe a well deserved payrise"

Chris Tarrant has his sister's wedding on this weekend. So too, aparantly does Mark Ricciuto. No point clubs kicking up a fuss this time of year.

vanders your argument "i have only two things to say 1. Trent Croad would kick tarrents ass anyday" is obviously well supported. They have played on each other a grand total of one time. Chris Tarrant gave him an absolute BATH, despite playing in the losing side. Tarrant has talent oozing out of his pores and now has the body and mindset to take the game by the balls. I think in time he will prove to be more valuable than Croad.

even though i passionately follow collingwood i still think that tarrant has a bit more of development to go than croad does. croad is a better player at the moment because he is a bit stronger and a lot more versatile, therefore making him a more valuable player at the club.
ps watch out for a young bloke called nick gill to make his mark on the game for melbourne, still a bit raw but is a great mark and a great athlete.

FIGJAM, I know stats don't tell the whole story, but I don't know how a player who gets 20 possessions and 8 marks can be given "an absolute BATH". I have Tarrant with 16 possessions, 10 marks and 3 goals in that game, so it looks on the face of it that the honours were shared. My memory's not too hot on that game. What happened? Did Croad play on Tarrant for the whole game?

Shane Parker from the Dockers.
there is no doubt in my mind that he is very very underated, hes tall, strong quick and agile, hes played succesfully on the likes of carey oloughlin and farmer, he is extremely consistent and a smart footballer and can take on any type of player. He is thier best player yet even in the west hes rarely mentioned.
