Fairly good, the backline better be topnotch because it might turn into a high-scoring match. Glad to see Richmond hit some form, I rate them a chance so the boys better be up and ready.

Reckon Goody will be right, but if there is any doubt about Roo & his hammy, they will give it another week. I would like to see Welsh come in & used off the bench, but they will probably give him another week at Westies. IMO, we need to pick another tall - either Hewitt or Perrie.

B: Hart, Smart, Crowell
HB: Johnstiffy, McGregor, Johnson
C: Stenglein, Goodwin, Doughty
HF: McLeod, Stevens, Riccuito
F: Burton, Hewitt, Edwards
Foll: Biglands, Bode, Ladhams
Inter (from): Clarke, Welsh, Massie, Mattner
Emerg: Perrie, Beinke, Shir
In: Goodwin, Riccuito, Welsh, Hewitt
Out: Bickley (susp), Shirley, Shir, Beinke

Smart should get the job on Richo, whether he is @ FF or CHF. This would leave McGregor to match up on either Ottens or Stafford. Stenglein should run with Bowden, who is their only midfielder we should be overally concerned about. Stiffy should return in to defence to take a Rodan type, as that is where he has played his best football. I'm concerned about the form of Sugar, so I would also like him to run off a HB flank rather than in the midfield to take some pressure off him. This would free up Edwards to be used in the midfield rotation. With McLeod & Roo being less than 100%, they should just need the cameo run in the midfield, as they can do plenty of damage up forward.

Sorry, I can't make it as I will be in Singapore on my way to Sweden!

Bickley

Well I wasn't expecting him to play this week, but after getting 5 weeks, he won't be playing this season. Thought he would get 2-3 weeks, so they obviously had the hanging judge this week.

roo & goody

If Roo & Goody are fit then they will play. Roo trained today and Goody is expected to train on Thursday. No chances will be taken with these two "gold mines". Don't be suprised if "Scotty the hotty" Welsh makes a return this week. I think the changes will be Bicks, Mattner & Massie out and Roo, Goody & Welshy in.

I wouldn't expect the Crows to win this week - Kane Johnson's 100th game (and we KNOW how the Crows play for milestone games); plus how many teams win when the Coach has just been re-signed?????

But just about everytime Port beats us, we win the next week!

Who's this new bloke?:D
Hewitt to replace McGregor - Goodluck Evan

Good to see Perrie back - he works hard enough and maybe Roo was ready last week but we held him back:confused: Thats a bit suss ?.

Perhaps Roo will begin at halftime?

All I want to see this week is One up and Two down for the crumbs front and centre. How many times did Stenglien go up with other Crows for a mark or ruck contest last week?

We should win.
Tiges'll be hard to beat on thier trip to SA. Nothing like a win to make the Coopers snake down the gullet.

Can someone please explain the following logic by those tools on Fox Footy League Teams.

Adelaide loses to Port by less than 2 kicks (a side that sits second on the ladder) whilst the Tigers win by about two kicks (against a side sitting in eighth spot prior to the game). Crows have won 13 games the Tigers 7. Game is being played at the Crows home ground, AAMI Stadium and yet three of those football experts (Hudson, Sheahan and Barnes) and I now use the term loosely, have selected Richmond. Logic totally escapes me....they are tools no question!
What did I miss?

With Hewitt joing Roo in the starting 18, it looks like there will be at least 2 changes this week. Reckon we needed another key position option against Richmond, so a good selection IMO.

yeah Hewit may make his mark as the marking forward hopefully and will be permanent in time for the finals and with Stevens there too hopefully they work very well together!

I think they'll get more value out of Brett Burton if he is not the marking focal point uip forward - but rather takes on the free-ranging floating role.

Beware, the toothless Tigers have new Sabres. Or they're gumming everyone to death, one or the other.

We should win, but the focus must be on the now, not next week or the weeks after.

I'd almost forgotten about Hewitt, until someone mentioned him as "the out of favour" Hewitt in another thread recently. I hope he has an impact, good selection and worth a try. If he does, selection pressure may become difficult once Welshy returns. Could it actually become difficult to get a run in Adelaide's forward line?

Go Crows!!

Well Kirky, they're Victorians ... so your guess of them being tools was spot on the money. Since 1991, I don't think I've heard one of the 'experts' from over the border ever rate us ... even when we were the only side in the 1990s to win from fifth or win back-to-back flags.

Will be a tough one with the Tigers playing in top form still home ground advantage & the roo back plus Gallagher & Hewitt are good selections but will miss Bicks in the packs & his hardness at the body, crows by 19pts.

So with Shir & Shirley named in the SANFL, it looks like Perrie will be other player to miss, leaving an interchange of Massie, Gallagher, Beinke & Mattner.

Reckon we look more balanced with another tall. We now have the option of changing our talls if things aren't going to plan. Mattner did well last week, so I'm glad he stayed in the side. Getting Gags back into form will be a bonus too. Shir needs a good run in the SANFL as he is lacking game time & Shirley won't make a full strength team.

Memo to Ayres: Play Stiffy in defence, as that is where he has played his best footy!

well really Crows should win but I wouldn't be surprised if Tigers did end up winning.so beware of the Tigers we are in great form at the momment and so are our talls Richo Ottens and Staff.I hope that it wont end on Sunday Go Tigers!! ;).I going to the game to see as play for the last time this year we play the Swans in Sydey in round 22 great .so I can't wait hopefully it will be a good game with Richmond winning in the end :D.

Well done crows on the win. Not an inspiring win ,you looked a bit flat and at times slow, but i supppose you'll take the points.Good luck in the finals as i picked you to play off in the grandfinal against the lions
