Nathan Ablett Is Allready Become The Most Overated Footballer In The League, He Has Kicked A Few Goals But If U Work Out Where They Have Come From Makes U Think.
He Has Kicked 7 Goals
3 From Free Kicks
1 Was A Mark With A 50 Metre Penalty
And 1 - 2 Have Been Passes From His Brother When Gary Coulda Had A Shot Himself.
That Doesnt Leave Many Goals He Has Got By Himself

Also He Is Good At Putting The Ball Down Infront Of Him, But Does That By Itself Warrant A Position In The Team
You have got to be kidding me, have you seen him actually play? or just reading some stats...?

Come on mate, go easy. We are not really in the position to critsize other clubs about Father Son picks. We have really struggled from these pics.

Matty Scarlett, Gary Ablett, Nathan Ablett, etc.

Now think about it. Do they really compare to the great Jobe Watson? What a huge impact he has made in his career, those dons just don't know how lucky they are having the son of a former great tear up the field.

Hahahah Gary can kick from 70 metres now? I knew he was good, but boy if he can do that have we got something to look forward to.

He's averaging 2 goals a game, which would be enough to get him a gig in most team's foward lines. He has kicked some from free kicks, but that's because he was tearing up some defences before the defenders started holding his jumper and wrapping their arms around him in order to stop his run. The frees were all justified and were due to frustration caused by Nathan. As for the 50, what's to say that he wouldn't have kicked it anyway? He was 50 out on a slight angle, he put one straight through the middle from a similar distance last week from straight in front, so he can kick the distance, and has shown all the signs that he's a dead straight kick. And that's just those goals.

He show creative play and his evasiveness in heavy traffic is outstanding. He moves like his brother, he has very good hands (both marking and handballs) and sets up play well. I don't think any Geelong supporters have named him a superstar already, but the signs are there that he could become a very good player and that is why Geelong supporters are so excited about him, he's got the potential to become a very good key forward, somthing we haven't had for years.
