Not really going to be considered but maybe something to look for next year.

you must surely be kidding yourself...
this is the VFL which is so far below the AFL standard it is not funny
as great a story Longergan was today and how nice it was for him to comeback so well, he simply isn't up to AFL standard...i'm sorry, he isn't..
good VFL player, that is all
Well done today though Lonergan! You were great!
Don't get too carried away, they were playing Richmond reserves!Lonners could be our version of Adam Hunter next season. Kill someone in the backline in the first half, then go forward in the 2nd half and sneak a few goals.![]()
I do not think that he would be seriously considered as a forward option in front of Hawkins, Nablett or Mooney but he could be a handy player in the backline. He is tall and mobile and was playing very well in the backline last year. He was selected in the senior side against Melbourne in defense when he was injured.
Shalom Rabbi ! Hope you had a good Yom Kippur (it was on the most recent Shabbat in case you didn't know! - And a very happy Rosh Hashana this year!)
You're absolutely right about Nathan playing down back, he's done it before and has stepped up, got involved and gets some confidence down there, Hank Playfair mentioned on the interview on ABC today after the Magoo's GF win stating a similar thing.
