Drastically alters the sanction if he adheres to his views.

Usually yes.

He was clear earlier in the year that bumping is a legal act so an illegal bump must be careless only.

He is sitting on the bench and seems OK.

Essendon's Twitter said he has concussion but they also said that he was "knocked out" when it's quite clear he wasn't.

At half time I could have sworn he said to someone that it was just his neck?

I'd say probably a concussion, may have some minor whiplash.

More hysteria ensues, i can't believe some of the crap that is being said about this BUMP, commentators talking about 5 or 6 weeks.. WTF is going on? Has the world gone Ocasio Cortez mad? The game is stuffed, it's a week maybe two 2 at worst for a bump off the ball. Any more than that means we are well and truly on the way to Gaelic football rules. My enthusiasm for this game dwindles weekly...Just ban the bump and be done with it, i can't stand another week of this shit. Without doubt this is the worst AFL season i can remember.
