Given Deenamites alter ego has just been red carded, I think it is fair to say Dubya wins ... how many of these votes came from bodgy accounts set up up by Demons fans?

I'm sure there would be more dodgy accounts from Roos fans than us. Jones is so much better. We should've made this poll public.

Is Deenamite also theJUICE, and also JuiceNewton29 ? (Was the latter created after the former was red carded ?)

Maybe there are just 3 Dees fans here, who have each created 20 aliases to vote for Nathan Jones ?

Ok, take it from a guy who supports neither Melbourne or Kangaroos, and who doesn't like one more than the other.

Jones is MUCH better.

Yes, and one Collingwood fan on day release.

If we subtract Deenmite's KNOWN bodgy acounts, Jesse is leading by a clear three votes.

I think, given the shiftiness of the Dees types, the margin is probably closer to 20.

Knowing how much you hate melbourne SLF, you probably made close too 40 accounts.

Because...?

Jones is more important to his side. As far as I know Smith didn't even finish top 10 in the Roos B&F.

Jones plays a mroe important role - an extractor. He is one of the toughest AFl players, he tackles everyone in sight, and win every hard ball he can. Inspirational, and his disposal is good too.

Smith is good, but atm what is he? A half back flanker? MUCH easier role to play then right there in the guts of the midfield.

Also, Smith has had an extra year in the AFL system.

Smith is a good player, but Jones is better.

And please, DO NOT use injuries as an excuse. Smith being injured doesn't make him the better player.

Jones is better now. They both have the potential to improve and we'll have to wait and see but Jones is younger and has done more at this stage. He also plays in a tougher position and has had much more pressure from the get go than Smith.
If you read through the thread most neutrals choose Jones.

Smith has played Half Back this year, but it was as a negator as well as rebounder. When put into midfield, as shown in his best on ground Semi Final, he is very good.
Jones finishing high up in the best in fairest probably shows a poor, injury riddled year for the Demons, rather then how good Jones' been (don't get me wrong, Jones is still very good). Smith played 16 games and didn't make top 10, but Corey Jones, our leading goalkicker didn't make top 10 either, which shows a lot of players had good years.
Smith is courageous, quick, tall, not afraid to take his man on and a brilliant kick. Jones is hard, great at clearances, good tackler and skillful.
I think I'd rather Smith in my team, but that's because we already have Swallow who plays Jones' role. Who is better? Too close to call.

To be honest, for all the Jesse Smith hype that Kanga fans have propogated, he hasn't done half of what my roo friends expected. He may have been injured but even roos fans I meet and talk to lament the fact that though he'll be good, he'll never be the saviour some reckon.
You have other better players, be honest. Y0u all know he's not the saviour, admit it. He'll be good but..... stop dreaming.

Jesse Smith reminds me a bit of Andrew Walker. Similar body shape and athletic abillity but Smith has worst skills and composure

Morning all,
After the most ridiculous suspension in recent memory it gives me great pleasure in announcing that Nathan Jones is better than Jessica Smith. I'll leave the Gold Coast fans to cry now. Go on SLF. Have a sook.

Smith has worse skills and composure?

Umm.. they are his biggest strengths actually.

Go watch a kangaroos game and then comment, thanks.

I;ve watched plenty of Kanga's games thanks and alot of ppl would agree with me. I'm not saying he's a bad player I like his commitment to the ball and aggression but by god his efficiency rate by foot and hand must be one of the worst in the league

His efficiceny rate is fantastic. He was running at close to 100% in his first four games, and maintained a very high level throughout the year. He would be right up the top in terms of league disposal efficiency.

It is a strength - as is his composure under pressure.

Admit you haven't watched him enough and remove yourself from the conversation. It will save you from more embarassment.

Worse skills and composure than Andrew Walker......you absolute idiot.

I have watched him and I stand by what I say as would most level headed supporters of AFL

jonesy is 19 and jessie is what 21?? **** the injury, just wait till jonesy is 21 will be a dominate midfielder :thumbsu:

Odd how Jones shot to the lead when the red-carded Deenamite went through his multiple-personality phase..........

I didn't create one you fool. Anway, I would've needed to create 15 to get us ahead. I don't think so. The good natured public have finally realised Jones' superiority.
