It took me several hours, and a few phone calls to MENSA, but i think i got it...

well I think Grant Thomas' stock is rising this year given the season they're having under Ross Lyon. I guess that's another of your quality insights.![]()
you know what, I really admire the advanced thinking and conceptual analysis of someone who comes in with an underdeveloped argument and an overdeveloped emotional side, but is never too cool to use terms like FOS - is that because of your limited vocabulary and plodding intellect? full of shit presumably? wow. so very clever as well, the way you choose to leave it out there unexplained, no doubt giggling like a school girl to yourself.
that sort of thing used to get a real laugh in the back of the classroom in high school didn't it? no one thought you were a discredited shambles when you couldn't back up yourself up then. ah those were they days, eh?

oooh you used mockery in a sentence. 10 points! do I have to sign something for your scout master? well done you![]()

If your majory worry is our aging midfield stocks, why would you rather trade a young midfielder who is doing well, than a Ruckman, given we have fairly good ruck stocks as well.

laughing at you champ, not the same thing.![]()
True, and with Meesen seemingly making a late charge, you have a point. However, I think Biggles is just about gone, Huddo has lost a bit of zip since his op (although none of his passion), which leaves us with Maric (promising), Griffen, Meesen(maybe wants to go home), maybe Tippett. A bit light on IMO.
Also, it seems an accepted fact that promising talls are a lot harder to come by than mids.
Given the amount of effort we have put into Griffen, I'd be surprised if we put him up for trade, particularly after hispromising debut this season.
By the way - re "FOS"...
One was directed at someone calling John Casey an ex AFL footballer
The other directed at a guy who has spent at least 10 posts attacking me without adding to the topic of the thread.
Both warranted I would say![]()
Id count Tippett as a ruck prospect, and even possibly Sellar. I think our tall man stocks are pretty good. I think we can afford to lose one of our promising ruckmen, and realistically, we're gonna have trouble keeping all three of Griff, Maric and Meesen, because theres only so many opportunities in a team for rucks.
True, although I do salivate at Grif playing a role up forward, particularly if Trent doesnt come up. And Maric looks like a handy pinch hitting type up forward too - good for creating mismatches.
Look at this scenario - Meesen wants to be traded home, Trent doesnt come up, Sellar doesnt take the next step. All of a sudden we aren't as wealthy in the talls department.
To be fair, i think the last is the most important there. Alot of our future is staked upon young Jimmy Sellar. I wouldnt trade Griff if meese leaves, but if he doesnt, then maybe.

yawn.....getting boring.....how about being constructive?

that's twice you've borrowed my line, derivative dahling
you seem to think this is a valid thread!! why?
it became a joke when you started ignoring all the things you couldn't answer, and hoping it would go unnoticed. not just when you based it on dubious logic, and poor observations, but when you started pretending the things you couldn't answer weren't there.
you turned it into a laugh fest, climaxing at the pathetic suggestion you were a big tough bloke (presumably to counteract the hissy fits thrown earlier), now live with it.![]()
