IMO, being played out of position. He'd kill it in the Chad Cornes role when he played at CHB. He is an average kick at goal, but pretty good in general play. Racks up marks and is very very mobile. I'd easily take Reid before Dawes, no question.Basically agree with CrazyQ.
Dawes would be stronger and fitter, Neagle probably a more natural player. Dawes has a dodgy kicking action, but it seems to be effective most of the time, but not on the level Neagle's kicking is.
I disagree with Redi being better than Dawes though, very much so.

Go onto the pies board and you might learn a thing or two about young Reid.IMO, being played out of position. He'd kill it in the Chad Cornes role when he played at CHB. He is now being groomed for that Chad Cornes type role.

I'd prefer to see Cloke deep with Dawes leading up personally, but I can see Malthouse using Dawes deep (actually I can see Malthouse playing Dawes in the VFL so Rocca can play AFL, sigh).Don't under-estimate Jay's strength, one very strong lad himself.
I rate both as very good prospects, unfortunately Jay is still injury prone and needs to prove he can get over them.
If the Pies continue developing players they way they have been they'll have another very solid player on their hands.
With Travis Cloke at CHF will he play deep?
