He looked far more agile and slick in his movements then I've seen him all year.

Impeccable timing. His defensive pressure has been good all year but his goal sense, agility & touch have been off a touch. All 3 looked really good against St.Kilda.

He's going to light it up very soon. The next 3 weeks would be great.

Go the igniter!!

He is not far off. Form is a funny thing. Early this year Davis was doing a lot of the hard work but still looked very frustraighted and restricted. Last week he looked a lot better. As Bay Pie said above his movement and touch looked better then it has been, had it not been for a slightly stray kick here and a bit of a fumble there probably would have kicked 2-3 to go with his assists. I think there is probably still just a bit of confidence lacking he will be better for the game on the weekend and if he can get a couple good touches early on look out.

The last couple of weeks he looks as though he is closer to finding his touch. Starting to get to the right spots to kick goals, crumb and set up shots for others. He'll start getting better and find some good consistency to peak in September.

He still looked out of form today. Dick IN Leon OUT for the Carlton game.

Incorrect, actually played as a crumbing forward today did it very well.

Won't and shouldn't be dropped for next week, reckon he might explode next week v Carlton

I think the biggest problem is his confidence. No doubt 4 goals would boost it a lot and a big win against Richmond too. Look at L.Brown, 2 good games put together with performances better than he's had in his whole career at Collingwood.

Will be interesting to see how he performs next week.

Lol, fail. You haven't even seen Dick play yet. :thumbsd:

where you watching the right game?

I can only pray that leon finally kicks 5 goals next week. It would be so fitting for his 200th

Yes we were and he played a good solid game of football. Opti is right in the fact that Leon was playing the forward crumbing position over his St. Kilda role of a midfield/Cloke replacement. And he kicked 4 goals against Richmond which should get his confidence up when going up for goal in the future. He should be back to top form against Carlton.
