I wonder how many of the 395 were Port supporters? This was on 7 on the amount of people who responded to the survey saying they opposed the plan

We're jumping through hoops for less than 1% of the residents in the council area.
It would be nice to know what their issues are and how many times have they used the current park. How many live in the area.I wonder how many of the 395 were Port supporters?
I would have used brushed aside sort of goes hand in hand with their team come finals timePA had a lot of resident objectors on the AO project but were shoved aside.
Sounds like it was successfully voted through Council last night (8-4)
Apparently Geoff Brock granted the Council an exemption which gave them the ability to vote on it.
First time for everything I guess
How? Teach me
That is the NIMBYs small in number but very loud in voice, they come out of the trailer park and shout from the rooftops.1% of the residents in the council area.
Also they are opposing it despite 1% of responses being against the proposal. So they are not even representing the majority of their votersIf I was a resident, id demand those 4 who voted against it, remove themselves from being on the council. Obviously they have no business being on a council if they can't look at fixing a completely useless area.
Hilariously the area they are sitting will be demolished due to the South Rd works, not due to usWhat an embarrassment to themselves

Some of the melts on the comments on InDaily are hilarious - particularly the guy begging for an ICAC investigation.
Ultimately, 99% of residents are for this. The 1% against this just need to shut up and let this happen.
Never read the comments.
What do you meanthe double standards in Adelaide is astonishing. Port Adelaide residents were dead set opposed to the redevelopment of Alberton because of the massive loss of public space and decreased access. The media and the council didn't even listen at all to the residents and just moved ahead. Compare the difference. The media went out of their way to find opposition to the crows move, even Rowie and Tim had to interview a s**t small soccer club affected. Like come on.
