Yeah, let's get one of our best kicks into the foward line totally nullified

I mean, we are pretty good going inside 50 aren't we?

Headland as attacking midfeilder and Tarrant stays where he is.

Delivery to fowards would 8/10 hit them on the chest or atleast in front to lead onto instead of over there heads.

How about Murphy FF More accurate than Tarrent.
Thats if someone pass's the ball to him instead of Pav who is always in a 2 on 1 contest in side the 50

If we talking new ideas how about this:

FF: Farmer McPharlin Bell

HF:Tarrant Campbell Mundy

C: Headland Pavlich Mayne

HB: Thornton Gilmore Drum

B: Michael Johnson Grover Hayden

Ruck: Sandilands Josh Carr Bell

Interchange: Warnock, Ibbotson, Palmer, Schammer

Cant hurt to try the Pav in the middle... McPharlin we know is good at FF... Campbell shown a bit give him a shot

said on the news that he could be getting more of a run through the midfield

Tarrant should be on the hff ive been saying that since he came here.
Campbell at CHF would be dumb keep Pav there. We get enuff off the ball so wasting Pav in the centre would hurt us in the long run and is not an ideal fix, when your sacrificing one of the best CHF in the comp.

McPharlin we know is good at FF? I thought the consensus was he failed at FF so he had to be shifted back?

Campbell is the Troy Longmuir of the 00's. He'll dominate in WAFL and then go missing at AFL level.

McPharlin was great at FF. He was there for twenty minutes on the weekend and kicked 3 goals. The problem with him going forward is obviously that he is our best defender and we need him down back...

Campbell needs to be given a chance. He goes missing cos he lacks confidence, give him some game time and that will change.

McPharlin is a good FF. 3 goals in limited time up forward is pretty good if u ask me.......

Give Tarrant a shot in the guts. You have two good young blokes in Murphy and Campbell waiting in the wings to take up a position at FF. If you put Tarrant in the thick of it in the middle he will be able to use his big body to clear some space for your runners like Peake, Ibbotson, Palmer and Bell. The only problem with this is that from what i have seen of Tazza late its that he doesn't look like he wants to run anymore. Has he lost his drive?

He's lost his confidence, which unfortunately seems to evaporate pretty quickly. The easiest way to boost it is to actually kick to him instead of going to Pav every time even though Pav has 3 guys hanging off him. Time and time again we ignore a good Taz lead and expect Pav to do the impossible. And then when we finally do honour a Taz lead we kick it over his head, at his feet or make him stop and prop when he had the defender toasted...

He's mainly played as a decoy for a year or a go to man up the field. At the Collies, the fifty was cleared and he led out from the goal square, used his pace, had his leads honoured and averaged 2.2 goals a game (45+ a year). There's no reason he can't do this for us, even if they just set it up for 5-10 minutes a quarter and then switch back to Pav dropping into the hole again...

That way, even if Taz sprays a few, he's gona have 4 odd shots a game. Pot a couple and that average gets rolling again...and that confidence :thumbsu:
