The new Real Estate album is very good and I'm enjoying the latest Black Crowes very much.

It appears Empire of the Sun will be releasing their first album is 8 years so starting to get excited about that as well.

From local Melbourne band Mildlife. I'm going to see them July 6th at the Northcote Theater.

if you want a taste of what’s coming in July they’re playing at the Triple R performance space this Friday from 7 to 8pm.
it’ll be broadcast live (and probably available on catch up).

The album is really good and maybe my only complaint is that the opening track is probably the weakest. If there earlier albums are good as well then that might sway me to get a ticket to the Northcote show.

IMO the first 3 songs are ok. everything from Musica onwards is gold.
I do prefer their other albums though.

Glen Campbell. Duets: Ghost On The Canvas Sessions.
Released on April 19th.
With Sting, Dolly Parton, Elton John, Brian Wilson, Eric Clapton, Daryl Hall, Dave Stewart and lots more.
This is a beautiful album and has fast become my favourite album from over the last year or two.

This music video clip is made completely with AI.

Reading the panic and fear in the comment section is entertaining.

The music is not AI, 'Washed Out' gained popularity during the chillwave rise in the early 2010's.

I just read that too (exactly at the same time it seems), cool news, all big names to me as well. Looks like playing the early stuff when Kuepper was there and no record sessions, but seeing all those dudes playing vintage Saints in their different way would be a treat.

Will tie in nicely with the annual trip down to Perth for The Railway Stakes.

Spent the afternoon trying to get a ticket and managed to get one at 4pm.

They put on a pretty good show.

They need to find a studio producer who can make them sound like they do live for the next album. I also think they are the kind of band who could record a really good double album.
