Laurimar would have walked into a flag but I think Hoes will start favs. Chump dont even bother down playing it..
still Laurimar for me based on these guys all playing together for 4-5 years. Hoers will need to gel.
But gee it certainly looks very promising for next year for both teams!
Tell you what though, Ill put money on Hoes ressies for GF win!

Hoers flag favs by a mile especially with Herbert leaving the Power. Hoers lucky they are in NFNL otherwise none of them would be back playing for free 🤣😁
Was one of the key reasons for the move I'm told. Was getting harder and harder to retain and recruit players in Div 4 and Div 5 ammo's.... even if they had a connection via the juniors. So happy that it's starting to work for the club.

I remember Banyule were having the same issue before they made the jump to the Northern cos the paying clubs could poach

To me its really made no sense as to why Ivanhoe were in VAFA just as Banyule put up with it for so long too.

Only 2 clubs really left in the NFNL that werent apart of the leauge and as soon as the switch happens, almost instantaneous change for the better for both sides.

Must of been a frustrating as a supporter to have everyone leave and constantly struggle to get players to compete.

*flags were still won by both

We also had most of our juniors at private schools - Xavier, st Kevs, old Ivan, Trinity, Carey and Marc - who were playing in higher grades of ammo's and so that was more attractive for many to play a higher standard - so a double whammy!

Hard to understand the decision for Kilmore to move on from the previous coach if the new appointment hasn’t attracted any new players. The players should feel extremely disappointed. Paul was building very nicely in the second half of the year and made a strong contribution to both the club and the community.

He stepped down himself.
