Graham will have an AFL career and I'd just like to think, it will be us.

See, I don't think he cheats. His defensive pressure acts are excellent. But his spread (due to footy smarts) is becoming very good.

He definitely doesn't cheat he's been played in the forward half hence the disposals in the attacking half. He just needs to pick up 5-10 more 'outside' possessions and really hurt the opposition with his good decision making and classy disposal and he will become a big headache for any club.

Could this potentially be Mick's influence? I don't care if people want to hate on him, because it's clear that he just wasn't the right fit, even if he was brought in with good intentions, but he does deserve some credit for some things too.

The only thing Mick influenced was the time it took for Graham to get a crack. Was destroying the kid's confidence just like he destroyed Cas' confidence and pretty much every other player on the list. No sugarcoating it. Mick deserves no credit, ESPECIALLY when discussing Nick Graham's form.

I actually think the comparison is spot on. Robbie Gray was no star when he first started.

That's true, in fact Graham is probably better at this age then Gray was... I'd be pumped if he can turn out anything like that!

Plays like Dayne Beams. He's not fast but he runs and tackles all day. Extracts the ball from the inside, links up on the outside and can go forward to mark and goal. Very good competitor.

Hasn't seemed to have done his confidence any harm. He's always played to a decent standard when he actually got a gig in the seniors.
