Although in this case, I'd certainly suggest Rutten had a better 2005 than Matty did).
Pavlich won the gig at CHF on his season form. Had it been on his value or rating in the greater scheme of things, I wouldn't be surprised to see the likes of Brown or Tredrea given the nod instead.
