schulz did not come straight back when he kicked 6 his forst week back at coburg. so why give jack a easy run back into richmond. just because many think he is our next big thing doesnt mean he can have a bad run and still get games.

seven actually

Yup...

Clearly it is far more important to continue with some pedantic line and make Jack play at Coburg again despite a good game with 6 goals last week.

Better we go in with a very small forward line with Patto & Simmonds as our "marking targets" :p so that once the hectic early pace drops off & the defenders have more time to get back to cover our leading mid sized forwards, we then have to either **** around with it in the midfield waiting for an option only to eventually turn it over or alternatively we kick long to Cotchin or Nahas against 2 or 3 defenders!

No... no need to structure a forward line properly with at least one taller marking target to provide a focal point so that the smaller guys can crumb effectively...

Far better to ask Jack to back up his game last week with another just as good before we consider picking an appropriate team to maybe be able to compete for 4 quarters.

With Richo out it is astounding that we also choose this moment to lay down the law with a 20yo developing taller forward to the detriment of the structure of the team. (Hughes or even Sarge would have provided some much needed variety)

Yet mid-sized guys like Morton (1 game at Coburg) & Brown (0 games at Coburg) plop straight back into the starting lineup!

Connors plays last night ahead of Jack who kicked 6 last week for Coburg... Connors must have had a blinder!

I really do not understand why we are put through this evey week... :thumbsd:
