Common sense prevails here. Jolly probably would have gone under different circumstances as would Goddard but it's not and so they don't. AFL probably should have dealt with all MRP issues after the replay.

Eye for an eye. If Goddard had of gone we probably could've expected Jolly to go as well, and je being up there as our most important player, I'm glad he's available.

Hopefully he swings forward a little more on Saturday.

BAAHHAHAHAHAHAHAH.:D

While it was the right thing to do, if that was a normal game, at least 4 players would have been rubbed out.

Oh well, the AFL has what it wanted, a real "replay" with injuries and form the only determining factors regarding each sides final 22.

Thank god Johnson got off, we have no one else who can smash Milne like he did, Milne kicked 2 goals, both off Collingwood turnovers where Harry was supposed to be on him.

Great common sense result and I'm sure leniency was shown as a thank you for both sides putting on a great GF1 and wanting another epic GF2.

I'm relieved..didn't think there was much in Goddard's knee, but thought Jolly may be in strife. Gilbert looked at the man before he whacked Leroy, but would have been unlucky.

Fair outcome, bring on the replay!!

No one should have been cited and if Goddard got suspended then so would have Jolly and we would have struggled more without Jolly then they would without Goddard becuase their gameplan doesnt require superstars and for us with out Jolly we are left with Fraser and that would make it a certain loss. Good result.

Glad everyone got off.

But in all honesty, if it was H&A, the only one everyone would be saying is a goner is Goddard.

His was the only one with malice in it. The others were more a result of deperate play (Jolly and Gilbert) or normal GF machismo (Johnson, Didak etc etc).

I actually thought there was a bit in the Gilbert incident. If you watch the replay hes got eyes on the footy for the most past but in the last few steps he lowers his eyes on leroy and misses the spoil of the ball completely, which i think gave anvil a cut over his eye

By contrast the jolly incident, both with their eyes on the ball for the whole contest and it really was an errant arm that missed the ball.

nobody was gunna miss though
