I notice guys like Vaughn and du plesis were very quick to clarify that their own ball tampering tactics weren't on the same level as this one. Cheating is cheating imo.

By that logic, murder is the same as stealing a chocolate bar, coz breaking the law is breaking the law. No, there are different levels of offence, hence the different punishments being applicable.

The Vaughan tactic of using saliva while chewing a sweet isn't against the rules at all.

If they were using the sweet directly on the ball that would be cheating, but I don't think they have really been accused of that.

Yes...but we can only control what we do. That was my point. What do we think is the appropriate standard is for our team? Make a stand on that and not stoop lower just because someone else doesn't meet that standard. We shouldn't engage in a race to the bottom.

No but refusing to play them would reinforce the moral high growing ground surely?

You clearly didn’t read what Tresthowick said in his book it was well and then truly pre planned right down to o the specific mint. As for Faf yes how unfortunate to be convicted twice for once off non planned incidents.

Yes but Faf was firstly convicted of using his zipper to scrape the ball and the second time it was lollies. Btw they are both classified as ball tampering so both murder crimes just different ways of murder to use your example

I was just really happy to have Jeff Hardy and Samoa Joe back. I’ve heard rumours around AJ going to Raw and Finn Balor going to smack down. The Finn rumour makes sense. Would love Jeff to get traded and have a singles run at a title.

Folks the South African adventure for me is 39 days away, 90km the distance from Pietermaritzburg to Durban this year (they alternate every year, next year will start in Durban). Bit worried though about the return journey, including a 17 hour stop in Singapore en route to Adelaide for the Thursday Night game there against Port. Any bright ideas on how to kill the time in Singapore, figuring I'll probably spend time in a transit motel having a kip?
