Just came in after shoveling snow for the second bloody time today.

We had about 8cm overnight which I shoveled this morning and since then(it's now about 4.30pm) we had another 9cm with more expected overnight and tomorrow. But at least it was a balmy -6C this afternoon. Almost wore my boardies while shoveling. Forecast is for a HIGH of -17C for Monday with a low of -26C. I hate winter!!!!!!!!!

Just tried to get a blood test...the lady put the needle in both arms and no blood came out (
Have to try tomorrow now..
Lucky me though, I got two needles instead of one!

Please, please someone save me from this weather! We ended up with 33cm of snow. We live 42km from Lake Michigan, but still received lake effect snow. I can not ever remember getting so much lake effect snow. I shoveled twice again today. That's eight times so far this season. Tonight's windchill is supposed to be -31C. They are predicting record breaking temperatures Monday/Tuesday with it not getting above 0F(-18C)! That's why I never complained about a "cold" winter's day in Melbourne in my 24 years there. Never.

Put some old carpet or an off cut of wall board over your shower base while tiling (sweep all the grit off first). That thin film of plastic won't stop dents if you drop a tile or something on it. And maybe think about wet sealing the floor and up the wall to just above the first tile. Can buy in a tub. Looks like smurf sh*t. Leave for a day to dry.

Nope been at the same place for 20yrs the house was just falling apart so renovations for the whole house started last July to bring it up to scratch, last time we did the bathroom it was 17yrs ago
