Was so hopeful for the C's this year, really thought we had the team to take the east and at least give warriors a challenge. The compounding effect is it puts the team back a year in terms of gelling as a unit.

Tatum looks great though, hard to believe that was his first reg season game.

Dodgers deserved it. When I arrived here on May1, I never would have thought the Cubs would have gone this far. They looked like a rabble, kind of like another team I follow.

At least I will always remember being in Chicago last year at this time. After being here in Melbourne to see us win the Grand Final then the next month with the Cubs winning, well, it was heaven.

They just need Embiid to start playing more than two games in a row.

I did not realise that Simmons went to Box Hill Secondary College. I lived in the units just west of the school from '79-'82. He also went to Whitefriars I see. Funny. I coached a Year 7 basketball team against Whitefriars back around 1980 when Garry Wilson from Fitzroy coached their Year 7 team. We lost.

Can’t see the resemblence, personally. I mean, one indicates support for a misogynistic, racist regime controlled by elderly men whose ill-gotten riches have allowed them to gain positions of power and enact harmful policies that seem to be directed at maintaining the fortunes of a small cabal of like-minded individuals at the expense of the rights of women and ethnic minorities...

I've been a fan of West Ham United since 1980 and used to travel over to watch them in London from my home in Northern Ireland on occasion with my big brother, a mad Hammers supporter.

I've had enough of soccer now. You never know who is the manager will be from one week to the next. The best players are on $300,000 a week but will happily move clubs for $300,001 a week. And now my club has appointed David F**kfingers Moyes.

I'm already killing for next March. I know who the Doggies coach will be, I know who the players are...I've even met some of them unlike the gilded untouchable gods of soccer. I'm very grateful that our great game is only played in this land.
