Adam Cockshell. Defrauded the company he worked for by using a company credit card to buy himself stuff, apparently.

Was convicted but not a major sentence. 100 day suspended prison term and forced to pay around $5000 in damages.

I would never dream of buying an Advertiser online account, but my parents have it so I piggyback off them. It gives access to any news site under the same parent company, so it has been useful occasionally when researching AFLW players, etc.
Do they describe him as an AFL "star".

A petty annoyance of mine is how every professional sportsperson is referred to as a star.

Even the ones you need to Google who they are.

Has anyone ever purchased stationery before?

Where would you even buy a pen for instance?
They just magically appear.

Copper mate of mine once said they had to purchase their own pens. No stationery cupboard. SAPOL cutbacks.

I asked if he had to buy his own bullets.

That was my point when I asked Adam who?

They're probably just charging $15/month to bypass other sites content blockers.
Reckon there is more to it than that, they must have some arrangement with the publications otherwise they'd sue.

Its set up in such a way you can save any publication you want. Also set up your page so that the topics you are interested in feature and you get articles from all over the world.

Its excellent and I won't be subscribing in any other publication again.

Pen & pencil sets used to be staple gifts, birthdays, Xmas, and leaving Company's .....still specialist pen shops operate in MELB .....but for you, probably Myer ;)

Getting harder to get refills for pens ....and don't get me started on Fountain Pens

Sounds like the Spotify of news. Assume small payments apportioned to news outlets based on number of articles read.

A female friend of mine thought she hit the jackpot when she married a cricket "star". He only played for SA. :drunk:

Any supermarket, if you wanted a fancy one or you want to test it out probably Officeworks

Edit: Just realised you weren't serious, I actually love stationery, I even bought pastel coloured highlighters the other day just because, I don't even need them or use them.

Not in this case. He is just a "former Port Adelaide player", and midway through the article they include a short paragraph saying "Cockshell played for Norwood before being drafted to Port Adelaide but blew out his ankle in his second game."

Apparently he purchased an air conditioning unit with it, haha. His argument was that he wanted to work from home.

Is that like the guy who purchased a set of fish hooks, a fishing line, a boat, trailer, and a 4WD to tow it all?

He went into the shop to buy tampons. The salesman told him "well your weekend's ****ed, you might as well go fishing..."

What about crayons? Maybe Sanders could help some of his favourite posters? ;)

How about the guy from Flinders University who purchased a share of the Adelaide 36'ers... amongst other things before being caught.

consultation has to be proper consultation - you can’t just tell people what is going to happen.

it’s not a box ticking exercise and you can’t pre-judge the outcome of the consultation
SA Health did with their staff.

No consultation, just told you must be vaccinated.

in any world. Because if you get caught or they argue successfully that it wasn’t, then you don’t get the legal protections that you tried for

That depends almost entirely on who is being consulted and who is doing the consulting. The Commonwealth have continuously gotten away with bogus consultation processes, I know that for a fact.

Obviously very different situation for other parties.
