Its not the amount of money, it's how you use it. Everton for example has spent more on transfers in the last 5 years than LiverpoolAbsolutely correct, the big 6 in the EPL can get an extra $100 million a year too if they finish in the top 4 and play champions league. This is why teams like Tottenham and Arsenal are angry as if Newcastle start rising up the ladder, they will lose out big time.
they won’t have the extra money to pay higher wages and entice the better players to their club. I love watching soccer but it’s the have or have nots that’s the biggest issue.
That's what my wife says....oh wait I misread thatIts not the amount of money, it's how you use it. Everton for example has spent more on transfers in the last 5 years than Liverpool
Yes of course. But money gives you more opportunities. Its not the amount of money, it's how you use it. Everton for example has spent more on transfers in the last 5 years than Liverpool

Transfer fees are a small part of the overall equation. Liverpool pay near on double the amount Everton do on player wages annually. Its not the amount of money, it's how you use it. Everton for example has spent more on transfers in the last 5 years than Liverpool
Covid is very unhelpful for any players drafted to a Victorian club in the last couple of years under the Andrews Government lockdowns , at least the SA and WA drafted players had more opportunities to play SANFL/WAFL. Can play, elite endurance and find the ball in bunches. Ned Cahill another that can play would be a handy get for a SA club too, both quite capable of forcing their way back onto an AFL list IMO.So Jay Rantall signs at Norwood. From vague memory there were a few keen on him here. Anyone know why he didn't kick on at Collingwood?
Got tired running back from the dump.....

On his first day back at training the Demons defensive gun pushed himself to the limit, fainting during a running session in hot and humid conditions at Casey Fields.
Medical staff surrounded Lever for 15 minutes as he sat on the far side of the ground.
He was responsive to questions from the club doctor and eventually got to his feet, walking unassisted to the changerooms.

Good work on slipping Andrews in there as a cause of your boy not making itCovid is very unhelpful for any players drafted to a Victorian club in the last couple of years under the Andrews Government lockdowns , at least the SA and WA drafted players had more opportunities to play SANFL/WAFL. I tell you what, as a dress rehearsal and to see if I have what it takes, I should be made a Mod as they seem to let anyone inThere's been all this blurb about not enough umpires in the game at all levels .....yes they've tried to improve conditions for umpires via treatment from players and fans
But if I wanted to be an umpire, I wouldn't have a clue where to start .....the game has basically said "come find us"
At last a bit of publicity .....I hope this is not the last, and the AFL & state leagues get off their arse & do something ....and hopefully we'll see George Kramer and Sanders in the whites very soon

How to derail a list build .....firstly pay 2 x 1st rounders +++ for Tim Kelly ....then lose an additional 2 x A-Graders in Sheppard and Venables a long way off retirement
That's effectively 3 x A-Graders missing from West Coast's list ...completely unforseen, but with 2-3 WC players set to retire at the end of 2022, puts paid to any flag hopes for 5 years
Can't plan for this ....and Kelly has been underwhelming for his price .....another to revell in the comfort of a large longterm contract
