Adelaide have been ravaged by injuries but they will be 2 games off top spot. Their depth is pretty good. Gibbs is their only A grader atm but guys like Greenwood, CEY, Douglas, Seedsman and Gibson have all stepped up.

Yeah it’s pretty impressive.

Laird and Betts are A-graders.

Still, very impressive for them to be where they are. They must be kicking themselves over last week.

was talking about their midfield. They have basically been playing without their 3 best mids this season and have got it done. I can't think too many sides that would bee that competitive without their top 3 mids

Adelaide are sadly cooked this year there most important players are injured for the rest of the year

Wasn’t all that impressed by the crows- I thought the bulldogs were more impressive they just lacked finishing skills. In the end they probably went in too tall and couldn’t adjust their handball happy game to suit the conditions.

Crows do have a lot out, mind you. But they look a lot like us in 2016 still which, as we all know doesn’t end well.

Adelaide have had a fairly easy draw to this point - wins over saints, blues, gold coast and bulldogs make up 4 of their wins. Richmond and Sydney were impressive though. Their draw gets harder in the second half of the year and it's worrying that it looks like a lot of their stars have recurring injuries. I'd love for them and west coast to finish top 2 - let's see how Richmond go playing an interstate prelim. Eagles v crows GF would be a dream.
