I struggled outside of Fyfe, Walters and Neale.

Man you should try going to a Richmond home game at the G - the sheer intensity and volume of feral people yelling BALLLL whenever an opposition player just touches the footy is incredible.

Maybe the umps are biased towards the eagles - but I seriously doubt the crowd is a significant factor. Especially when you have eagles fans complaining at fellow fans midgame for being too noisy!

Out of everything this is the thing that pisses me of the most about Eagles fans at the game. They are such an entitled bunch of whingers. If you don't like it leave or shutup, you are at a game of football ffs. When we play in Melb our interstate fans are a rowdy bunch and are usually very loud even when massively outnumbered.

I don't understand what people think is going on with umpiring.

Do people think:
A) We pay them off
B) The AFL instructs umpires to favour us
C) All umpires are West Coast fans
D) Our crowd has some mysterious effect on umpires that doesn't occur at Adelaide Oval, MCG or Etihad etc.
E) We cheat the rules

To be fair, a lot of people on here were saying the AFL was against us after the Naitanui suspension.

I think a lot of Freo supporters suspect that WA umpires are Eagles fans from way back. So C I guess.

Ditto for the Pies crowd, scream ball every time an opposition player wins a contested ball and regularly when a player is tackled without the ball.
