I too love footy, but you'd be hard pressed to argued that GWS hasn't been treated differently than other expansion clubs.

I can deal with Sydney winning because they're well run and have made smart decisions

I completely agree Keyser Soze that roadblocks were put in front of the eagles. But that was the VFL (which the AFL remains, it is the same organisation, in principle). EXCEPT it wants to win the battle for Sydney. My beef is with the VFL/AFL. The Vic teams have been as screwed over by the expansion teams as anyone, except they get the crumbs that fall to the floor. The Vic teams have also been propped up financially by the interstate and wealthier Vic clubs. They can get stuffed as far as I am concerned.
Yes, they took the balance of 10 years ago, and reversed it so drastically for GWS and GC, that it beggared belief. The only problem is, it's the AFL so anything is believable with them. Ultimate power and control of the sporting scene is what they want.
