Carlton's not that young though, they just have a lot of triers.

Not suggesting they'll finish the season any higher than 10th, but it goes to show how much the game is played between the ears.

The main thing that has happened with Carlton I think is that they have started to believe in themselves. In previous years have been playing with their confidence shot. A bit like Freo this year - as you said a lot of it is between the ears. Have seen a bottom of the ladder side beat the top of the ladder in previous years in the WAFL when the WAFL was still a half decent competition (before the Eagles came on the scene).

Was just the way he said it as if he'd quickly looked him up and seen that he was 'pick 33', and didn't even realise that he was traded from Brisbane, not drafted by Carlton.
