Roughead's cancer has spread to his lungs, not good. 4 small spots detected in a biopsy and he will be out of footy for 12 months while he undergoes treatment.

Poor bastard. One of the nicest blokes in footy (just about the only bloke you can say that about on the hawks list). Really hoping for the best not only for him but his family and football in general.

****ing tough break for Roughie. I'm the same age as him so certainly a reminder to myself that cancer doesn't discriminate by age.

Sounds like the prognosis is still good but what a horrible thing for him and his family to go through.

Hope to see him out there again ASAP kicking bags (even if against us, yeah I said it).
