Half way through the year. I'm surprised we haven't had a rising star nom yet...
Sheed, duggan and Nelson have been solid/consistent rather than spectacular without any of them having a real standout game. The 2014 draft group was a strong one plus hogan, McCarthy and now Boyd have all had big games so I'm not surprised we haven't had a nomination yet nor am I unduly concerned about it

Players who have had consistent years tend to get noms late in the season often for games that weren't necessarily their best effort as a reward for their consistency

Carlton taking boekhorst over Goddard is a bigger fck up then Pitt over darling

Boekhorst hasn't really been given a go yet. And Malthouse was having some kind of negative effect over there. Lets see how he goes before writing him off.

And another similarity to our 2013 season happens. Unexpected loss to Carlton. This shits starting to get a bit scary with Port. If they finish the season in 13th then I'm calling the exorcist.
I've expressed my genuine empathy for my mate, a Port supporter who wore his scarf to our winter pool competition every week even during their rock bottom season of 2011. Eerie how they are experiencing a reality check of the order of our 2013 season.

This Melbourne game is huge for my H2H Melb vs Saints 2015 bet against my mate. Get there!

Cashed out at 1/4 time.. thank **** for that.

God this commentary is so biased towards Geelong. This will be Melbourne's best win of the year and they've completely earned it.

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHH Shizen! Geelong f**ked up my multi. And I counselled my diehard Demon supporter client to refrain from spending his last $5.00 for the weekend on a ridiculous gamble on Melbourne when they didn't have Hogan. Ouch. I got burned like Enright. How sad they couldn't do it for that bloke.

Does this inject some value into our game against Melbourne after the rest? Foreign ground; after the bye though we will have had an extra 24hours to recover, for what it may be worth; the gamestyle we are executing involves high intensity though well sustained throughout the second halves this year...
